Latvian National Opera | TURANDOT ‘Nessun dorma’ Three tenors

Andris Ludvig, Dmitri Popov and Murat Karahan revisit the ‘three tenor’ format and present their rendition of one of the most famous arias ever written: ‘Nessun dorma’ from TURANDOT, performed at the Latvian National Opera’s VIVA PUCCINI Gala in June 2015 in Riga.

Luciano Pavarotti, Plácido Domingo and José Carreras made the ‘Three tenors’ rendition of ‘Nessun dorma’ immortal, now the three tenors of the Latvian National Opera, Andris Ludvig, Dmitri Popov and Murat Karahan, present their own version of the famous aria from Puccini’s last opera TURANDOT.

After having mastered all of Princess Turandot’s riddles, Prince Calaf offers her one last chance to prevent her of becoming his wife: If she can guess his name until dawn, he is prepared to die if she commands. Self-confident, he sings ‘All’alba vincerò’, he will win at dawn.
